Before Studio Zaé, there was a career in fashion. Years as Head of Design, where everything revolved around brand identity, texture and precision. The same values that now form the foundation of every interior the studio designs.

Part of that work was translating collections into showrooms, spaces built with as much precision as the collections themselves, only to disappear a week later. That impermanence left something behind, a desire for work that endures. The move into interior design therefore never felt like a new beginning, but like a deepening. The same eye for form, material and narrative, now applied to spaces that remain.

A home is the one place we return to, day after day. A place to slow down, to breathe, to simply be at ease. That feeling is rarely created by what fills a room, but by what shapes it. Light, material, proportion. Not decoration, but atmosphere, felt long before it is seen.

Studio Zaé was founded on a single conviction, that a home, like a garment made to measure, deserves a vision of its own. Shaped around the people who live in it, carried through every detail and built to last.

Based in Amsterdam, Studio Zaé designs high-end residential interiors.

Every home begins with a conversation and ends with a space that feels inevitable. Studio Zaé guides each project from first concept to final handover, so you work with one studio and one vision throughout.

01 Conversation

We start with your space, your plans and how you want to live in it. A first meeting on site, to understand the architecture, the light and what matters to you.

02 Concept

Spatial layout, atmosphere and a material palette that defines the home. Presented through plans, references and material samples, so you can feel the direction before anything is built.

03 Design & Detail

Every element worked out with precision. Technical drawings, custom joinery, lighting, electrical plans and the specification of every finish.

04 Realisation

We coordinate contractors and makers on site and oversee the work through to completion. The project ends with final styling and a home ready to live in.
